I can not believe its September already!!!
Summer FLEW by, but yet it didn’t. When all 3 kids are home, the days seem like weeks, and weeks seem like months!
This last month, I was able to really focus on de-cluttering. I haven’t exactly gotten around to saving the BIG money yet, but I sat down with my financial advisor and mapped out what my financial future will look like, and should hopefully look like.
In the last post, I touched on opening a saving account with Capital One 360 and setting up a 401K which actually will be an IRA, which is the better option for my income.
In other news my BEST DEAREST friend got married this last weekend, it was magical. I whole heartily enjoyed the entire exhausting weekend.
I will sending off all 3 kids to school T-O-D-A-Y . YEP, all 3 kids will be in school 3 days a week from 8am-3pm. Nicholas will be in the 2-3 year class, Orla will be leaving her lil brother behind and moving up into the 3-4 year old class.
Nick is still working 60-70 hours a week, so I’m still single momming over here.
August was a great month, it was jammed packed full of stuff so it really made the time go by fast.
My month at a glance, we will be celebrating my husbands 39th birthday this weekend (9/9), School Pictures, and let the COLD/SICKNESS SEASON BEGIN in our household!!!
September is also, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. As much tragedy as there is currently going on with the Hurricanes, I urge you to consider donating to a Child Cancer Non Profit organization, LIKE Alex’s Lemonade Stand. While you may have never been directly affected by childhood cancer, the likelihood of knowing someone who has is pretty common. The average age of kids diagnosed? Six years old! That’s when they should be running around with friends and worrying about which ice cream flavor to choose. Not stuck in a hospital fighting for their lives. Only 4% of Federal funding is dedicated to childhood cancer. Thats right, F O U R. Click on the image to donate!
